The bulk of the Great Library material is in paper format,
several services are available on CD-ROM or accessed online.
There are many distinguishing features of the Great Library.
The impressive staid columns are mostly decorative. They are
made of wood and are hollow. The large fireplace is truly a
focal point of the room with the majestic mantle topped with
a rich oil painting. The mantle is exquisite with the ornate
carvings of rosettes and lions.
The etched windows lend light and beauty to the overall effect.
The intricately designed plaster ceiling is magnificent.
