The main entrance for several years to Osgoode Hall was
aligned with York Street. On the mosaic floor a seal is
embedded. It is the seal of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
The seal includes Hercules the symbol of power and Justitia the
symbol of justice. A ribbon is inscribed with Magna Carta
Angliae, symbolizing the document our legal system is
based upon.
