The porter's chair is in the corner on the first floor. Its purpose
is to shield the person opening the door from drafts. The chair
dates from the late 1700's and was donated to Osgoode Hall.



The ornate bannister post on the main floor is beautifully
carved and adds magnificence to the staircase leading to the
Benchers Quarters.
